Esteemed and achieved, Lupita Nyong’o is a name many would fan-out over. However, the Oscar winner was the one giddy after meeting music’s reigning power couple Beyonce and Jay Z.

The Kenyan bred beauty made the reveal during a fun-filled sit-down on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show last night.

In the studio to promote new movie ‘Queen of Katwe,’ the actress recalled her first encounters with The Carters – which were separate.

See what she had to say below…

Hilarious!

Peep more from her appearance below…

‘Queen of Katwe’ arrives in US theatres on September 30th and internationally in October.

I love the fact that she isn’t afraid to wear her natural afro out and also mix it up sometimes. She’s a gorgeous and eloquent woman with a bright future in Hollywood. SLAY!

    Beautiful and talented actress

She is SO beautiful like WoW!
However, it´s been two years and her career has not took off the way it could have. She has had roles and has some still to come, but none too important.

Honestly, I think she’s doing the best she can given the state that black hollywood is in. We all know the game by now. The majority of successful black actors have been typecasted in stereotypical s****/black oppression roles at one point in their career. The Academy along with all the other prestigious award ceremonies tend to only recognise black talent when it’s in the context of them playing inferior roles (I.e Octavia playing the maid from the Help, or Chiwetel in 12 years a S****, Mo’Nique in Precious, etc) – and that’s just accounting for the years they even bothered to nominate any ethnic actors. She will breakout one day.

Yes I didn´t mean it was her fault or anything. But her career is not going as great as it could have been, she had a lot of momentum two years ago.
