When news of ‘The Real Sidechicks Of Charlotte’ hit social media, many – including Rihanna – wondered whether it was a spoof.
Well, as it turns out, ratchet has reached an all new low. Because the show is very real.
Today, all seven members of the cast stopped by The Breakfast Club to dish on the concept of the series – as did its creator.
In trademark fashion, the hosts held nothing back and roasted the ladies like a Thanksgiving turkey. Charlamagne and guest Lil Duval poked especially hard.

A boiling hot mess.
The saddest part is that there’s undoubtedly a network that’s (at the very least) considering picking this up.
A reality that’s problematic on so many fronts.
The concept of the show only serves to reinforce negative stereotypes and exploit a group that clearly lack intelligence, self-worth, and foresight.
We’re not ones to rain on anyone’s parade, but hopefully this doesn’t see the light of day.

Yes AK and KH new wife were, Yet unlike most side chicks AK and Kevin Hearts became the main chicks. That said holding this over their heads is beyond tired to the point of its obvious people just like to dwell on the negative. Let’s hold a light to your past and judge you for wrongs done years ago.
Honestly the only mess was Charlamagne and Lil Duval talking over these women every time they asked them a question. Charlamagne invites these women to her show and demeans them without even hearing their story just because of a show they’re attached to. I can see if they were being funny but they weren’t… just being loud and annoying. You see how Angela conducted her solo interview with them? Huge difference.
And to top it off, Charlamagne was being unnecessarily nasty to the white girl just because he assumed she had money and was privileged but when she tried to explain that she wasn’t privileged and provide her backstory he shut her out and insulted her. Like come on he even told her she needed plastic surgery. Smh
That was horrible. He usually isn’t so annoyingly dismissive but he was obviously showing out for Duval was. I liked that the one chick with the red hair got duval in his feelings.
The theme song should be UNPRETTY by TLC or Sideline Hoee by Monica lol
