Issa Rae‘s much loved tale of love and life through the lens of two friends has officially been picked up for a third season.
The star, who created and stars in the series, took to Twitter to make the announcement:

No word yet on how many episodes the third cycle will run for, but we’re just ecstatic that it’s coming back.
Speaking on its renewal (along with the simultaneous pick-up of ‘Ballers’, HBO’s executive vice president of programming Amy Gravitt said:
“We’re thrilled that the summer lineup of Ballers and Insecure connected with our viewers out of the gate. We’re so proud to work with Dwayne, Issa and all of the amazing talent in both shows.”

Season 2 is amazing so funny. Issa is more confident as an actor and her comedy. I hope they put more than 8 episodes on the third tho.

HBO recently got hacked we know, but has it been fixed?
NO i like the 30 minute episodes. It keeps it fresh and fun. Making them an hour will ruin the creativity i feel and make it start to get too predictable.
