… sleep with men and then don’t like the color of the men and women that she sleeps with

        Chile please, that means nothing.
White men and women and non-black people of color fetishize and sexualize black bodies all day.
That doesn’t mean they like or respect black people on a human level or preclude them from having problematic views on race.
Hazel has obviously internalized a lot of this.

Something has changed for me throughout the years with this Iyanla show. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it feels off not genuine … I could be wrong and I hope I am but just doesn’t do it for me anymore

It’s not you, it’s the original viewers as well. I feel like the people aren’t fake or scripted but she is. She’s very “HOLLYWOOD” now and instead of helping the people, she end up beefing with the people.

I hate this show. I love the plot but dislike Iyana. If I were producing this show I would have hired a real psychiatrist with a medical degree and not unqualified Iyana. Iyana does nothing more than exploit former celebs and wanna-be celebs for ratings without actually “fixing” their issues. There are too many unsuccessful stories from this show to count (Maia Campbell, DMX, etc). Also, did I read that this show’s theme song was done by known female physical abuser Memphitz??????
