In it, the Pop icon played the character Cammy and helped the project earn over $99 million at the box office alongside co-stars Jean-Claude Van Damme, Damian Chapa and Ming-Na Wen who played Chun-Li.

The release was distributed by Universal Pictures and impacted theatres on December 23rd of that year on the wings of a $35 million budget.
