This week brings with it the Stateside release of ‘Ocean’s 8,’ which RiRi stars in alongside Kate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, and Awkwafina.
To celebrate its arrival, the cast assembled in New York for an elaborate premiere event.
All eyes were on the Bajan belle, who has been interestingly quite low-profile in recent months (sans the promotion for her many entrepreneurial ventures such as Fenty Beauty).
Word on the curb is that the star is hard at work on two new albums, which may explain her relative downtime.
Still, with Ocean’s set to swim into theaters on June 8th, some are wondering whether it also dubs as the official start of Rih season?

Hun she is an extremely underwhelming performer known for her lack of live ability. I’m aware of her live act- not impressive.

Pitchy, stiff, lifeless, boring, forgettable, bored, “where’s beyonce”, “why hasn’t she gotten better?” Are all phrases and words associated with Rihanna’s live act. Only to her stans is She any type of good live, she is horrible live. For her caliber of popularity she’s easily one of the worst in history.
And rihannas been in the game 13 and she’s only a tad bit better than she was when she first came out. SZA’s vocals issues are a totally different issue than Rihanna’s lack of seriousness for her vocals
Rihanna has given amazing performances around the world sold out stadiums and has beautiful and unique vocals! There going to talk wether your doing bad or good anyways so your opion is quite void at this point if she not your cup of tea so be it but the general public disagrees and that’s just not her stans hunny
I’m not questioning Rihanna’s popularity, that chick is popular and doing her thing. We are talking about her singing ability which no vocalists co-sign. Those who understand fashion understand that there are so much more that goes into it than just selecting a pretty dress. Age appropriate, body and shape, event appropriate and also personal esthetic are all things to consider and for me Rihanna gets it right every time. She never fails.
I understand fashion and this is not it. Thi type of dress and it’s fullness are for rihanna 5 years ago when she was slim. Her new fuller figure makes this look NOT flattering for her because it makes her look much bigger than it actually is. This is a dress for a skinny girl not for Rihanna’s body type which is why she looks like a sea coral instead of a slay. She has to be more careful with her fuller figure
Girl sit. The only thing going into selecting her dresses these days is her weight. That’s it. As soon as she put on the weight, her sense of style immediately declined.
