Tiffany Haddish‘s ascend has just hit quite the milestone, for it’s been announced that she has signed up for a major Netflix special. Shh! Don’t tell Mo’Nique

According to Deadline, the hourlong show will be filmed early next year and debut worldwide on the streaming platform later in 2019.
Haddish, whose served as the break-out star from 2017 comedy ‘Girls Trip,’ now joins an elite list of names who’ve been bestowed the honor. A list that includes the likes of Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, and the ‘Def Comedy Jam 25’ special.
The deal comes a mere matter of months after comedienne Mo’Nique called for a boycott of the streaming giant – citing an allegedly insulting offer for a similar special. An offer, she claimed at the time, was rooted in racism and gender bias.
Clearly elated with the acquisition of Haddish, Lisa Nishimura, VP Original Documentary and Comedy at Netflix said in a statement:
“Tiffany Haddish is a force. Hilariously funny, brash and self-effacing, she’s an incredible artist who is winning over audiences while breaking barriers, and we are tremendously proud that she will showcase her formidable talent on Netflix.”
The 38-year-old’s special is just one of many new projects she’s added to a super packed plate.
Indeed, as reported, Haddish has an animated venture with Netflix on the way, inked a mega first-look deal with HBO, and shot new movie ‘Night School’ with Kevin Hart.

Its sad cause I truly believe Mo should’ve took it with a grain of salt then made her demands afterwards when reaching new found success. You can’t always look at someone elses plate while your food is getting cold basically.
