Spike Lee, rather unfortunately, is no longer tied to Sony’s plans to bring Marvel’s ‘Nightwatch‘ to the big screen.

Lee was in talks to direct the picture for Sony but is no longer linked to it for reasons which are yet to surface.
On board to pen its script is ‘Luke Cage’s showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker who will now join Sony to find a director with the skills to bring his fantastical visions to fruition in the next few months.
The movie is being built to support Sony’s quest to rock theatres with its crew of Marvel creations following the releases of its ‘Spiderman’ and ‘X-Men‘ movies.
