As one of the minds behind the ‘Black Panther’ story, Lee illuminated the lives of millions with characters he built to fill his brilliantly layered Marvel Universe which- by way of its global impact and box office success- turned him into one of the world’s most powerful men.

 

His daughter shared…

He felt an obligation to his fans to keep creating. He loved his life and he loved what he did for a living. His family loved him and his fans loved him. He was irreplaceable. My father loved all of his fans. He was the greatest, most decent man.

His light will live on.

    Oh nooooooooooo
    This is huge. He helped so many children as well as me.
    I would always run to my comics and movies when i wasnt feeling well. This makes me sad.

    So sad
    This guy dnt know that he comics and what he create help a young guy like me when i loose my father.
    The firat tume i got one comics its was when my uncle give me one of his comics the day my dad passed away.i was 7 years and didnt know all the day he was gone because i was concentrated to this comics

    Great man but he wasn’t well compensated for his work. Glad artists like Toby McGuire stepped up and help him save whatever money he had left.

    This is horrible. I remember when my dad introduced me to the X-men movies. I was hooked ever since. I started drawing comics and felt like I was a mini Stan Lee lol rip he had a long life

    I was a little kid reading Marvels. They gave me a place to escape and be what I wanted to be. My heart is full. Thank you so much for giving me a world of adventures that I could escape my fears.
