Miami dance machine Jason Derulo has already lit up Billboard charts and stages alike with his chart-topping hits, but reports have it the Haitian hitmaker’s now looking to show the breadth and depth of his talents don’t end in the music realm.

As reported here, Grammy winners Jennifer Hudson and Taylor Swift are set to lead an all-star cast of the film adaptation of the legendary ‘Cats’ Broadway show. Also featuring the likes of Idris Elba, Rebel Wilson, James Corden, and more, reports have it Derulo’s been tapped to fill out the cast.
Making his feature film debut as “Rum Tum Tugger,” Jason and crew will begin production on the flick in December. Tom Hooper will direct and Steven Spielberg will executive produce.
As of time reported there is no tentative release date.
