B.Scott is and has always been quite flamboyantly “fabulous” – I’m not exactly sure why BET would reach out to him and expect him to tone down his image. That’s like ordering a double cheese burger with no cheese. Makes no sense.

If they were smart, they’d be reaching out a lot more to the gay community, considering they are the ones who support majority of the female industry. “The Barbz”, “The Beyhive”,
“The Navy” – these fan-groups are mostly composed of gay men between the ages of 16-25. BET should be doing as much gay-related sh*t as possible.

An apology was definitely owed, and hopefully whomever was responsible for this ‘isolated incident’ will come to realize that it’s 2013 and the gays aren’t really going anywhere.

Why is BScott complaining when he’s the one who considered dating a homophobic guy because he was cute in one of his Youtube videos.
He’s an egotistical Perez wannabe who should be happy BET didn’t give the job to someone the viewers at home actually care about.

BET can do what it wants. Asking him to tone down his look isn’t homophobic in the slightest because it has to do with his personal STYLE NOT sexuality.
Also, I saw someone say BET needs to do as much gay related things as possible, no they do not.
The gay community are just as much a part of the black community as the straight community are so there’s no need for them go out of their way to bring in viewers they already have watching.
It’s not like gay people don’t watch BET already.

The only time BET needs to add gay themes to their programming is if they’re going to use it to spread the message of equality and show the black community that there’s nothing wrong with being gay and that we as a people should look far deeper than sexuality when writing people off.

B Scott needs to keep quiet and be thankful for the opportunity.

What has them not letting him wear make up and heels got to do with anything. Not all gay men wear make up and heels, so how could this possibly homophobia on Bet’s part?
B Scott knows he’s not that interesting without the circus act he puts on and that’s probably why he was so embarrassed.

GLAAD needs to focus on the BIGGER issues because all I get from this is vanity.
Why did they feel the need to get involved in this stupid story about a grown man being told to wear a tamer look?
If they’re so interested in helping LGBT community’s, they need to realize that helping us means pushing for equal footing not preferential treatment. If he wants to impersonate Mariah on his own time that’s fine, but why was he so worried about how much make up and heel he was allowed to wear when all he was doing was hosting.

Don’t accuse BET of being homophobic because you didn’t get your own way, my cousin interns there and he said they’re just accepting of him as a gay man than any company in 2013 would be and that means a lot to me.

So stop crying and learn to function without your lipstick and concealer.

You can’t ask a clown to perform without its bag of tricks….otherwise it’s not a clown anymore.

Funky Dineva would have been better because he’s actually funny and a genuinely nice person . B Scott is ONLY known because he USED to make motivational videos but is now ONLY known because he’s the man in make up.
Rupual snatches wigs with or WITHOUT a wig, so I have to laugh at this wannabe today.
