Fans are still up-in-arms over reports that Aaron McGruder – executive producer and creator of Adult Swim’s cult classic animation “The Boondocks“ – was not a part of the creative process for its long-awaited season 4 return (April 21).
Returning from a lengthy hiatus, news of the show’s reboot was greeted with approval from fans who were curious to know how McGruder would develop the characters for a new season. However, according to our friends at The Root, Adult Swim shared a statement saying:
“This season was produced without the involvement of Aaron McGruder, when a mutually agreeable production schedule could not be determined.”
McGruder took to Facebook to share his thoughts on leaving the characters he created over 20 years ago. His words below…
“The Boondocks pretty much represents my life’s work to this point. Huey, Riley, and Granddad are not just property to me. They are my fictional blood relatives,” said McGruder on his official Facebook page. “Nothing is more painful than to leave them behind.”
Interestingly, the news follows reports that controversial cartoonist has signed on to produce another series for Adult Swim titled “Black Jesus.” As of time reporting, no official premiere date has been set for the series.

Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite
justification appeared to be on the internet the easiest
thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely
get irked while people think about worries that they just do
not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects
