Box Office Barbie: Nicki Minaj Grosses $137 Million At Movie Theatres

Published: Saturday 20th Jan 2018 by David

As one of the world’s most recognisable faces Nicki Minaj is undoubtedly highly sought after as a Hip-Hop musician.

Fortunately, thanks to facts and figures obtained by Box Office Mojo, she can now celebrate news that she is just as bankable as an actress.

Sweet news for the LaGuardia alumna below…

Minaj has starred in three box office smashes since impacting the industry and is credited as a leading lady in two of them.

These being ‘The Other Woman‘ and ‘Barbershop: The Next Cut’ and today, the combined lifetime grosses for both projects sailed past the $137,941,244 point.

That’s right…137 million dollars.

Unfortunately, Minaj isn’t credited as a leading player in ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift’ meaning she cannot officially take credit for the $161 million it has earned since its release in 2012.

Box Office Mojo…

With these brilliant (and undeniable) figures in mind, we ask…

Why do you think Minaj is so popular?

because Nikki is a true Talent she’s not a one hit wonder too bad the industry would disrespect her 8 years winning films and movies respect it…..

  3. Coolio January 20, 2018

    • Caleb January 20, 2018

      The album is a myth.

  4. NYC January 20, 2018

Maybe because she’s actually a trained actress who has TALENT

    • Jay January 20, 2018

Nicki’s an actress? Lol uhhh yeah okay

      • Bartier Bardi January 20, 2018

That’s what she actually went to school for. So yes, she is a trained actresss.

    • Caleb January 20, 2018

The beginning of the “Right Thru Me” music video says otherwise.

Obviously she is a very talented actress. She has been fooling her gay stans into thinking she is a rapper. After all, that is her base consumer group these days.

Let’s be honest , every role I’ve seen nicki play , she’s played NICKI , so I wouldn’t say she’s a talented actress u til she plays a role that isn’t herself .. yes she’s playing a girl That isn’t NICKI, but does she really give you a different character than herself ??? .. it’s so funny that Cardi books a movie deal , now y’all blogging about nicki ..??? could these be another instance where y’all getting payed to blog about nicki to make it look like she’s doing more than she really is ?? It’s crazy right after cardi announcement y’all bring this up … I’m WOKE !! Are the rest of y’all ?? ??

  8. Fact Checker January 20, 2018

The way y’all reach to give accolades and SPIN STORIES to support artist you Stan while diminishing other Artists you don’t like gives the feeling that this blog is maintained by a 14 year old which I know is not the case. I’ve been following this site for as many years as I can think and this type of click bait and stan stunts is BENEATH YOU. You know damn well Nicki had nothing to do with leading the success of either of those damn movies.

      Facts!

  9. Caleb January 20, 2018

This is a reach. She was costarring in films with big-name actors and how many lines did she even have in “The Other Woman”? But congrats

    • Hater January 21, 2018

But let them tell it, she was the one that made all the money for the films..

  10. Andrew January 22, 2018

The other woman…she had a small part. Although good it was lead by Mann and Diaz…
