The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences confirmed this morning that the actor will return for a second run as host of the ceremony.

Interestingly, the 2016 Oscars are being produced by the team of David Hill and Reginald Hudlin – who directed the pilot for Rock’s semi-autobiographical series ‘Everybody Hates Chris‘ which ran from 2006-2009.
