In life, Whitney Houston was renown for not holding back her thoughts on any and everything. And it appears it’s a trait that has passed on to daughter Bobbi Kristina.
The 21-year-old has lashed out at acclaimed actress Angela Bassett – following comments the latter made about not casting Bobbi in the upcoming Lifetime biopic on Whitney that she’s directing.

When quizzed about Bobbi K’s omission from the film by Entertainment Weekly, the 55-year-old replied:
In uplifting her memory to the highest standard possible, did you ever think about casting her daughter Bobbi Kristina as Whitney herself?
No, I did not think about that. I did not think about casting her. And probably for a number of reasons, you know. One being that she’s not an actress. I know she’s acted here and there. I know she’s been on their family’s reality show, but she’s not an actress and acting is a craft. It’s an attempt to illuminate the complexities of human behavior and life. And this is a very fast-paced schedule; we have just 21 days to tell this story. It’s more than just saying lines and turning the light on. You have to drive the story—there’s a technical aspect.

Well, it seems Bobbi did. She took to Twitter shortly after to lay into the ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ star. She said:
Messy, much? Unnecessary too. Clearly, Bobbi must feel some degree of truth about Bassett’s words; why else would she be so steam pressed over a comment that was more fact than a dig? Silly.

Because of my love for Whitney I refuse to share my true thoughts on her daughter, Bobbi when it comes to having class, quality and talent. All I can say is that she is absolutely NOTHING like her mother. Although it’s a tall order, I expected to see something (even if it’s just an ounce) of what her mother possessed in her general make-up as a woman. I don’t! What she said about Angela was disgraceful and beneath anything that her mother would do. Things may be different for Whit’s daughter (now that she’s grown), but Whitney’s church upbringing is a part of what defined her.
Whitney had a way of putting someone in their place without being any thing less than a lady. She only went “there” if it was called for. That was for those that were asking for it (Wendy Williams comes to mind). I honestly don’t trust Angela’s intentions with this film on Bobby/Whitney’s love affair (which should be a focus on Whitney’s life/career). All I can do is look at the final product that Whitney’s “friend” is cooking up and judge it then. As for Bobbi she should learn not to disrespect her elders. Simple as that!
The irony is that Bobbi is not only named after her father, but looks just like him.

This girl( very questionable might I add) needs to have several. Angela did not want her ass in this film because she is the spitting image of her father and lacks talent especially in acting. I swear, these rich brats need to stop being so arrogant and entitled.
Her disgusting self-absorbed attitude and delusional manner is exactly why no one is sending her scripts. How does she intend to be a responsible and professional actress when she can’t even act like a decent and respectful human being? Bobbi should be grateful that someone who developed a good relationship with her mother and worked with her is asking for strong quality. Angela’s words were honest and tactful.
