The groundbreaking series ‘Dynasty‘ is to be revived by one of the creatives behind the hit ABC show ‘Revenge.’

The series followed the lives of the affluent Carringtons as they manage love, life, wealth and power as they face the ever-looming threats posed by their enemies.
An eight-year run dominated television with storylines fronted by Joan Collins, John Forsythe, Linda Evans, Diahann Carroll, Billy Dee Williams and the actor Richard Lawson, father and step-father to the performers Bianca Lawson and Beyonce.
Co-written by Schwartz & Savage and Sallie Patrick (of ‘Revenge’), the new Dynasty follows two of America’s wealthiest families, the Carringtons and the Colbys, as they feud for control over their fortune and their children. The series will be told primarily through the perspectives of two women at odds: Fallon Carrington, daughter of billionaire Blake Carrington, and her soon-to-be stepmother, Cristal, a Hispanic woman marrying into this WASP family and America’s most powerful class.
A premiere date for The CW’s reboot of the series is yet to be announced.

2017 is looking up!
Hopefully this is good… But the CW… ? I would feel better if it was going back to its original network. And hopefully its not watered down. It needs to carry the same glitz and glam the first show did. Ever since Revenge has ended I haven’t been able to find anything similar… I miss that show soo damn much. 🙁

TERRIBLE IDEA! Classics of this caliber should NEVER be touched. It will lack the authenticity that made DYNASTY the telivision hit it became.
