With September fast approaching, so too is the season 2 premiere of ‘Empire.’
The Lee Daniels music drama struts back onto FOX on September 23rd and promises to deliver dynamite storylines as well as a host of appearances from some of Hollywood’s top names.
Indeed, the likes of Mariah Carey, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, Chris Rock, and Lenny Kravitz are confirmed to feature on the show’s sophomore run, while Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Trai Byers, Jussie Smollett, and Bryshere Gray all return as anchors.
Having generated hyper hype with a brief teaser, a new extended preview has been unveiled today.

Power is on cable
I like both “Empire” and “Power”, but in all honesty, Empire is definitely a better show. The actors, writers, directors, and producers are all outstanding. The wardrobes moves from one decade to another. The deal breaker, all the recording artists are playing themselves and performing their music. This by itself adds so much realism and meaning to the story line. Empire gives a genuine perspective of how all the drama materialize. Its so important that both past, and present lives of the characters are included; this is quite significant. With all the viable attributes, the shows credibility speaks for itself. True authenticity!!!
