HBO is preparing for a big weekend of premieres and for maximum impact is letting everyone watch it for free.
The subscription TV network announced Wednesday (April 20) it and Cinemax will offer a free preview weekend running Friday–Monday, aligning with the world premiere of Beyonce‘s Lemonade [April 23] and season premieres of some of its favorite shows.

I’m one who doesn’t have premium cable(like many people). It’s not cost effective for me.
Since I’m on the go. AMD rarely home. I have premium Hulu and Netflix services and stream movies to my devices.

This isn’t about making people join HBO, the ‘free element’ for the weekend was probably always the plan – the objective here is ‘Promotion’ and ensuring as wide an audience as possible to hear/see this film in support of the album campaign. Her team are smart how many people you reach determines how many fans and ‘casual listeners’ get onto your promo train. We’ve seen time and time again that no promo means little awareness and sales of your music…
