Los Angeles last night played host to the world premiere of Marvel‘s hotly anticipated blockbuster ‘Black Panther.’
Due in theaters February 16th, the film – which is anchored by Chadwick Boseman and features a star-studded cast – is tipped to become one of the biggest box office successes of all-time. And that’s just based on pre-sale tickets.
A few weeks remain until the masses will be able to see the movie epic, but its cast offered an elaborate preview of the spectacle ahead at the premiere.
Posing it up on the elaborate purple carpet were the likes of Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Daniel Kaluuya, director Ryan Coogler, and Angela Bassett.
Other familiar faces in attendance included Usher, Donald Glover, Janelle Monae, and Yara Shahidi.

A lot of what you don’t like about how these beautiful people look is the cultural clothing they are wearing. This is a moment for many black people and they wanted to represent what the movie is about and where it takes place. Widen your outlook my friend.

I love Janelle Monae damn it! Always so on point and classy. And so talented and artistic. Her debut in cinema last year was amazing.
They all look great. Angela Bassett has the best body and face I have ever seen at age 60! Janet, Halle, and Toni got the best body for being 50 but Angela has an even better body and she is 60.
