Impressed by his work on the aforementioned ‘Empire‘, the film director Ridley Scott handpicked the entertainer when seeking stars for his forthcoming movie ‘Alien: Covenant‘.
May 19th 2017 will deliver the project to theatres with the help of Smollett’s co-stars Michael Fassbender, Danny McBride, James Franco and Katherine Waterson.
Principle photography kicked off on April 4th 2016 in New Zealand following Smollett’s arrival to the cast two months earlier in the February of that year.
