The lyricist/entrepreneur Kandi Burruss is to usher a new generation of African-American businesswomen into the entertainment industry with the series ‘Queen Boss.’

After learning that African-American women are the fastest rising group of entrepreneurs in America, Centric created ‘Queen Boss.’
In it, Kandi and a group of her established peers will judge products pitched to them by women hoping to bag the ‘Queen Boss’ crown and $25,000 to build a business of their choice!
Tracey Edmonds will stand as the show’s host and will join Kandi to welcome it to the masses on January 14th.
“Queen Boss” is produced by Ora TV, with Jon Housman the Executive Producer and Blake Levin the Showrunner and Executive Producer of the series. SWSI Media co-produced, with Heidi Lehmann, Marci Weisler, and Suzette Cabildo serving as Co-Executive Producers. Leonard Burnett, Jamie Schutz, and Lindsay Roth also produced.
Burruss currently stars in the current season of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘, the highest-rated ‘Housewives‘ reality series in NBC history.
Currently on its ninth cycle, the series follows the lives of affluent women living in the Atlanta area as they deal with the perks and perils of their opulent lifestyles.
