The supermodel Naomi Campbell has been convicted of assault.

In 2009 the ‘Empire’ actress allegedly scratched a paparazzo’s eye when she hit him with her purse when she spotted him taking photographs of she and her then-boyfriend Vladimir Doronin.
Unfortunately, a Sicilian court has convicted her of assault as the incident took place in the town of Lipari and has given her a six-month suspended prison sentence.
Her lawyer has vowed to fight the decision as she shoot scenes for her role in the horror series ‘American Horror Story: Hotel‘ and continues to receive praise from TV critics for her role in the aforementioned ‘Empire’ in which she stars in alongside the actress Taraji P. Henson.
