While other series’ in Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives‘ empire have suffered more ratings lows than they have highs in recent years, the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ stands tall as the only one to have enjoyed consistently high numbers almost a decade into its TV reign.
What it has the other show’s don’t. NeNe Leakes, who has seen her audience-pulling efforts earn her a brand new contract with the network, which sings to the tune of $1.5 million per season.

Reportedly recognised at the “most popular housewife of any of the Bravo franchises” by execs at the network and its parent company NBC, details from Leakes’ new deal have surfaced weeks before ‘Atlanta’s seventh season touches down on November 9th.
With this deal, Leakes casts a glittery shadow over deals secured by the likes of ‘Atlanta’ co-star Kenya Moore, ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Lisa Vanderpump and ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey‘ front woman Teresa Giudice, now set to serve 15 months in jail after pleading guilty to multiple fraud charges.
However, though her success story remains unmatched by any of her fellow ‘Wives’, NeNe has some way to go before matching numbers generated by ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians‘ star Kim Kardashian, who’s said to have earned $28 million between the months of January and June this year.
