Nick Cannon: “Planned Parenthood Is Modern-Day Eugenics”

We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.

In a letter sent to Dr. Clarence Gamble in 1939, Margaret Sanger penned the line above to detail her plans to build ‘The Negro Project’, a collaboration between she and the American Birth Control league to make abortion available to the oppressed African-American community.

How she planned to execute her vision?

It seems to me from my experience…that while the colored Negroes have great respect for white doctors they can get closer to their own members and more or less lay their cards on the table which means their ignorance, superstitions and doubts.

We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal.

Why any of this is relevant today?

The KKK-approved Sanger was the founder of ‘Planned Parenthood’, the organisation Nick Cannon and millions around the world believe uses its healthcare services to reduce the size of minority populations via abortion.

Nick’s thoughts below…

His remarks come after he took to ‘The Breakfast Club‘ to explain why he believes this is the case.

Think about all the stuff they did with Planned Parenthood and all that type of stuff. That type of stuff is to take our community and forget gentrification, it’s real genocide, and it’s been like that for years. This system is not built for us. This is not our land. I appreciate it. I love it, wouldn’t want to live nowhere else, but this wasn’t designed for our people.

Watch his conversation here.

How Planned Parenthood responded to claims of genocide?

Planned Parenthood’s mission for 95 years has been to provide affordable health care regardless of income level, race or ethnic background. Planned Parenthood has a long history of condemning racism and opposes discrimination in all forms. Margaret Sanger worked for social and racial justice at a time when segregation was the law of the land. She was invited by African American leaders to help provide health care to women in the African American community and her work was praised by Dr. Martin Luther King. For all her positive work, Margaret Sanger made statements some 80 years ago that were wrong then and are wrong now. Those statements have no bearing on the high quality health care Planned Parenthood provides today.

Do you agree with Nick?

  2. LISA LEVINE November 29, 2016

This conversation with Nick is getting national attention. Wake up black america, ya’ll worried about Beyonce and Rihanna while an organization is attempting to DESTROY THE BLACK RACE. wake up.

    Educate yourselves people.

Thank you TGJ for sharing that video.

  5. Truth November 29, 2016

Paranoid, conspiracy theory.Research from legitimate sources.

    • Peace November 29, 2016

So Margaret didn’t attend KKK meetings? The woman in the video wasn’t sterilised?

    • Dee November 29, 2016

I never understand how people can be so quick to discount things as conspiracy and paranoia. Remember, The US Public Health service for 40 years from 1932 t0 1972 treated black males as guinea pigs in The “Tuskegee Study of Untreated S******* in Black Males”.

Sometimes “legitimate” sources aren’t so legitimate and are purely propaganda. Sometimes we have to dig deeper.

  6. THE REAL November 29, 2016

First of all, I’m a bit uncomfortable reading about a topic like abortion on TGJ…A website mostly known for trivial updates on female pop stars and their chart rivalries among each other. The various implications of Planned Parenthood and abortion is far too complex to be discussed in a simple ‘agree or disagree’ format w/ Nick Cannon (!) of all ppl.

Furthermore, when is the last time Nick Cannon needed affordable access to a pape smear or help w/ a vaginal infection or birth control pills? Sadly, much like his career, Nick is unqualified and highly misinformed on the issue.

Shady AF, but no lies here…

    • Fifi Gonzales November 29, 2016

But the court records say differently. Did you watch the videos? The proof is there.

  7. Kiii November 29, 2016

Abortions only account for a small percentage of what Planned Parenthood actually does. PP has provided so many women with heath care who couldn’t afford it. I bet you Nick Cannon has never even been in a PP. Nick Cannon is just pushing the same misinformed toxic garbage that white republicans have been pushing for years. They’ve been making up stories & bold faces lies about PP forever & idiots like Nick Cannon continue to fall for it.

    • Fifi Gonzales November 29, 2016

I’m confused. So the women and men in the news report are lying? Please be clear. PP has practiced eugenics in the past.

      • Kiii November 29, 2016

I didn’t say that. I’m saying the Nick cannon, like many others, is making these claims but has provided no real unbiased evidence that PP is involved in “modern-day eugenics”. None whatsoever

He also said forget about gentrification. He needs to stick to being a tv show host

  9. Shaquiiii November 30, 2016

He really thinks this is still happening today? What about PP statement on the issue?

  11. OMG Logic!!! November 30, 2016

Jesus, thank goodness Queen Mariah dropped this brain dead fool. If you’re intellect level is somewhere between an ant’s and a spider’s, stay the hell out of politics. You are some sort of entertainer Nick Canon, you lack even the most remote capability to understand the issues you’re trying to talk about.

    • OMG Logic!!! November 30, 2016

      your* garbage auto correct.
