The countdown is on to the debut of Halle Berry‘s new show ‘Extant’.

Fiercely anticipated, the CBS show is produced by the legendary Steven Spielberg and follows the life of astronaut Molly Watts (played by Berry).

The wife and mother returns from a 13-month expedition to space only to find that her experiences while away from earth have pronounced consequences not only for her life, but for that of mankind.

Set to hit the small screen on July 9th at 9pm, the network have today unwrapped a new promotional poster.

Led by Teresa Giudice, this season welcomes the arrival of three new ‘Housewives‘,the return of Manzo‘s sister Dina, who cut ties with the series after its table-flipping second season, and a recurring character in Victoria Gotti, of the Gambino crime family.

Halle Berry takes centre stage in the latest ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ teaser, set for a May 23rd 2014 release!

Teasing the role she’ll play in the movie’s story, the 52 second clip flaunts just a little of what the flick’s $52 million budget afforded it, featuring appearances from the likes of Beast, Mystique and Wolverine, portrayed by Hugh Jackman.



ABC is pulling out the big guns when it comes to their fall lineup.

Not only did the network announce a new show starring Viola Davis, they’ve got a new family comedy starring none other than our favorite “Girlfriend” Tracee Ellis Ross called “Black-ish.”

‘The Sims’ are back!

Yet to score a release date, the third quarter of 2014 will bring with it ‘Sims 4’, the latest in the video game series launched by Wright and Braun’s ‘Maxis.

So, as to whet the appetites of its role playing fans, the game has unlocked a brand new teaser, detailing the ‘Make a Sim’ experience available to enjoy come its release date!

Magic Johnson found himself the brunt of many-a-slam from Donald Sterling during the embattled LA Clippers owner’s infamous AC360 interview last night.

Shelling out claims that legendary former Los Angeles Lakers star did nothing for the African American community and should be “ashamed” of having HIV, the Anderson Cooper-hosted interview pushed Sterling right back atop another media firestorm.  With spectators flooding Twitter with standout quotes from the candid sit down, Johnson took to the social media network to say:

It appears Shonda Rhimes has an appetite for ‘Scandal’. The creator of the hit ABC show has re-teamed up with the network for her latest series ‘How To Get Away With Murder’.

A favourite at the ABC Upfronts, the show is led by Oscar nominee Viola Davis who plays criminal defence attorney and professor Annalise DeWitt. 

The show, a legal thriller, follows DeWitt and her ambitious law school students who become entangled in a murder mystery that could have major ramifications on their entire university — as well as change the course of their lives.

Much ado greeted the announcement that Ben Affleck had been cast as caped crusader Batman in the as-yet-untitled sequel to ‘Man of Steel’.

Having weathered the media stormed that followed the reveal last year, the Oscar winner is once again back in the headlines today following the unveiling of the first “still” of him in the movie.

Decked in the action-hero’s classic get-up, the actor poses beside the iconic batmobile in the smouldering snap.
