As if listing fashion and fragrance designer, reality television star, and small screen actress to her growing resume isn’t enough, now ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Nene Leakes is headed to Broadway.
Joining a historic twist on the recently revamped ‘Cinderella’ story starring Keke Palmer as the lead character, Leakes is set to join the Rodgers and Hammerstein production from Nov. 25 to Jan. 3, 2015.

The family of 81-year-old legendary comedienne Joan Rivers’ “remain hopeful” despite reported concerns from doctors that her condition will not improve. As we previously reported, the famed ‘Fashion Police’ hostess was rushed to Mount Sinai hospital after going into cardiac arrest during a throat procedure. Shortly thereafter she was placed on life support.
Amidst growing rallied support from fellow celebrities and fans, her daughter, Melissa Rivers, took to the net to thank the masses for their encouragement:
“I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my mother. She is resting comfortably and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.”
Newly surfaced reports indicate, however, that the funnywoman’s care team is not as hopeful about recovery as Melissa is:

Rushed to hospital after she stopped breathing during throat surgery on Thursday, Rivers is now completely reliant on life support machines, prompting TMZ to report:
According to our sources, the family will have to decide in the next couple of days whether to keep the 81-year-old on life support. We’re told the family remains hopeful that if they do decide to turn off the machines, she will make a turn for the better and fight through it.
