As the credits rolled on the 2019 Oscars, the arrival carpet at Vanity Fair‘s exclusive afterparty officially opened.

The likes of Lady Gaga and Regina Hall – both big winners – were in attendance, as were the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Ciara, Rita Ora, Gabrielle Union, Serena Williams, and many more.

As stars go, few come as multi-dimensional as Common.

A critically acclaimed rapper, the MC has been making an increased mark in the acting arena.

His latest flick is action thriller ‘Hunter Killer’ – which also stars the likes of Gerard Butler and Gary Oldman. 

Released to critical acclaim, the high-octane flick tells the tale of the hunt for a US sub in distress when he discovers a secret Russian coup is in motion. One which threatens to dismantle the world order.

Today marks the movie’s release on Blu-ray and DVD.

That Grape Juice caught up with Common to discuss his role of Navy Sergeant John Fisk, working on-set with his colossal co-stars, 90’s Hip-Hop, and more.

Paws up, Little Monsters!

Mother Monster Lady Gaga took the Best Original Song category for ‘Shallow’ – the first single from the 2018 remake of the classic film, ‘Star Is Born’ (starring Bradley Cooper and Gaga).

Having already taken home the Golden Globe for the same category as well as earning Grammy nods for ‘Record of the Year,’ ‘Song of the Year,’ ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance,’ and Best Song Written For Visual Media (winning the latter two), the Oscar addition will come as a suitable fit on the singer’s mantle.

ABC hit ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ is back for a firework filled-fifth season.

The legal drama, which stars Emmy winner Viola Davis, follows a group of ambitious law students and their brilliant criminal defence professor.

Last season brought with it a countless list of shocking twists and the newest run is already delivering a whole lot more. Particularly with the addition of Rome Flynn.

It all makes for a riveting watch. And like millions, we’ve been all sorts of hooked!

In breaking news, producers for FOX hit ‘Empire’ have announced that they are slashing Jussie Smollett‘s character Jamal out of the remainder of the current season.

This, following the star’s arrest for allegedly filing a false police report over a hate attack that prosecutors assert was staged by Smollett himself.

Jordan Peele is reviving ‘The Twilight Zone‘ on April 1st!

The series was launched in 1959 and has had several stops and starts since then thanks to reboots which lead the way for Peele’s modern take on its sci-fi driven world.

For months, many have been asking Wendy Williams “how you doiin?” quite literally. For, the talk-show queen has been notably absent from her throne.

Per the former shock jock, health issues are at the root cause. However, that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from cranking into overdrive – specifically as relates to her marriage and personal life.

In her time away from the screen (which as at writing is nearing three months), re-runs and a succession of stand-ins have filled the air in her absence.

That all looks set to change because Williams has formally announced yet another return date.
