‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s viewers scored a surprising plot twist this season when Phaedra Parks claimed her cast-mates Kandi Burruss and Shamea Morton were engaged in a lesbian affair.
Alas, the twist also came as a surprise to Phaedra…as she didn’t know she was being filmed when she said it.
Eagle-eyed viewers would have noticed that Parks’ claim was captured by cameras placed in a position far removed from the ladies’ table.
Kandi Burruss explains why this is the case in a new interview with ‘Entertainment Tonight.’
This is the tea that you should catch. I think you guys should know this. There are times where … we go eat, we might talk for a while, then they might give us a break [from the cameras] to eat, and then, you know, whatever.
That’s what I try to tell people. There’s things that Phaedra does and says off-camera that she never does on-camera, so that’s why you guys don’t get to see the real deal. But that episode, they caught her red-handed.
Kandi has a explanation and story behind everything she’s very crafty that one just as much as Kenya

Why does it matter if Phaedra was caught red handed when Kandi haven’t considered her a friend for like two seasons now? do she not remember all the times she had meetings w/ her staff to discusss Phaedra? or her mama and her family trying to air dirty laundry about Phaedra? This storyline has ran its course we get it both ladies have done their talking about one another now it is time to move on and live their lives. Both women are boss chicks on many levels. As Phaedra also works for the legal department at Bravo as well besides running her own firm The Parks group among other ventures and Kandi has a long list of ventures as well.

Kandi along with Cynthia are the death of this show. Kandi is so fake and her business are flopping like her music career so she’s hanging on to this show for relevancy. Idk what Cynthia ass is still doing on the show. Porsha, Sheree and Kenya are the only ones bringing in the ratings.
