Tamar Braxton‘s departure from ‘The Real’ continues to cause ripples that show no signs of cooling or calming.
Yesterday, the singer and media maven used two platforms to break her silence on the firing that rocked social media.
She appeared on the Steve Harvey Morning Show to discuss the matter and reveal that she’d signed a production deal with him to front her own talkshow. She also spoke about her axing on last night’s episode of ‘Braxton Family Values.’
In both instances, she claimed she was blindsided, vaguely hinted at being backstabbed by her co-hosts, and wasn’t the most endorsing of the show’s producers.
Her words have clearly rustled feathers at ‘The Real,’ because we’ve just received a statement from the show and it awaits below…

In response to statements made by Tamar Braxton during recent interviews and appearances surrounding her departure from “The Real,” we felt compelled to correct some inaccuracies.
The email continued…
“Tamar Braxton’s contract was not renewed for reasons that will remain privileged and private, and that are between her and the Studio. However, we would like to make it crystal clear that Ms. Braxton’s departure from the show had nothing to do with her former co-hosts; any suggestion to the contrary unfairly tarnishes them. As always, we wish Tamar and Vince all the best.”
Given the direction this is heading, it’s clear the team over at ‘The Real’ are not here for mess. Should Tamar continue to tout her version of the story in the way she has been, one has to wonder if gag orders will be put in place?

If you not going to spill the tea then please hush & move on to your new show. “The Real” has more pressure to keep the show alive now that their *STAR* is longer on the show. Tamar you are a free agent and still have a music career that is wide open for you full attention. Leave “The Real” in the past & move on!
Almost was going to like this post until you said she was the STAR from The Real. She was the reality STAR from The Real, thats it. All of the ladies have great long TV/entertainment careers, most besting Tamar and her career trickling after her STAR sister’s resume, Toni.

Yes, she has a right. Vince called the station, and the producer woman informed him over the phone that Tamar was fired. That was very unprofessional. The show will not last long without Tamar. All of those girls are loud.
What still is the main point of this WHOLE messy situation is the fact that the producers or whoever fired her still never told HER why SHE was fired! They told her husband to tell her why. I’m sure she will believe him of course he is her husband.

Basically Tamar got fired over YouTube comments.Ppl are always in the comments talking about her and Jennie don’t get along yet Jennie always over Tamar house and has recently started going on double dates with T&V. Toni even said all the girl were JUST over Tamar house days before she got fired, so that was bull they thought would pass. And these producers that “went off on” were the same producers that were in her dressing room and all over Instagram talking about how the studio wasn’t the same with out her so I take that as a BS story that Rachel put out to put Tamar in a bad light. All the rumors about Tamar on the real set started EXACTLY when Rachel took over a producer. I find that incredibly convenient. I also find it HILARIOUS 24 HOURS AFTER GIVING HER STORY AND FOOTAGE OF HER GETTING THE NEWS AND BEING SIGNED AS A PRODUCER AND STAR OF 2 MORE SHOWS….Rachel wants to sue Tamar. This is the same woman who said it DID NOT matter if Tamar was on the show or not and her fans didn’t matter et the highest views on ANY of their video on their YT channel is Tamar singing King!
Regardless of Tamar and Jeannie’s relationship, Tamar multiples times, really like 90% of the time always had negative looks, comments, etc. about nearly all she said. It was never a good look and seemed very bully like.

I wish that her label would allow her to be able to perform “Catfish” on some of these talk shows to get it to start charting on the Hot 100. I just know that radio would eat it up.

You or The Real must didnt listen to what she said. She never one time blamed her co host or never said anything bad about her co host. She did one interview and spoke on HER reality show. Somebody over there been feeding the blogs stories this whole time. She even said it was a great show and she was happy there. People just looking for a reason to make her seem like the bad guy.
On the BFV show last night she specifically stated she heard from Cince or thru Vince that she was not getting along with the girls and production. Then she refuted that. Regardless she still did say that was what she heard or the only if any reason she got. Point blank period this girl knew what she did wrong and if she did not she got an answer thru Vince.

So true, or at minimum when she was not on The Real daily and even being so really they were the same relevancy. I still don’t understand why Tamar is making such a big deal out of leaving The Real. That show did very little for her music career which was the whole point anyway. I thought The Real was just a side gig but she’s crying like it’s all she had. Girl got fired and then gets her own show ?? I think she was gonna do a Michael Strahan and leave to do her own show. She confided in her girls (co hosts) and they ratted her out to producers. So she was fired before she could leave them hangin and quit

Oh believe you me this firing was a long time coming. She’s has a bad attitude and she thinks she can get away with speaking to everyone poorly. But Daytime television and talk-shows are messy and cutthroat, so the producers should be able to handle it professionally. Both parties need to come to a mutual agreement to not slander each other.

I still think that Tamar is trying to make her look like the victim in a victimless situation. I mean it would have shocked me more if any other lady was fired from show. But then again it’s not even being fired its just severing ties with an employee for any sort of reason it happens when contracts end in any job.
True! She has a bad habit for playing the victim which is shown throughout her reality tv shows – in fact it seems to be a recurring theme in BFV. That scene she just filmed for BFV really didn’t sit well with me, because it was clearly set up and Tamar was doing fake tears.

And you’re right, it’s not like a traditional ‘firing’. They are on a Daytime talk show on a fixed term contract that gets renewed each season – which means if the producers wanted to get rid of the entire cast, then they could. Her biggest mistake was thinking that she was untouchable and referring to it as “her” show.
I like the Braxton family and cuz this year has been so DEVASTATING FOR TAMAR, I HOPE HER SHOW DOES WELL CUZ IM NEVER GOING TO BE THAT PERSON WHO DOESNT HAVE A HEART FOR OTHERS FEELINGS CUZ Tamar couldn’t complete Dancing with the Stars, She didn’t win the Grammar, She couldn’t promote her new album ALL THIS CUZ HER HEALTH WAS FAILING BUT STILL TRIED TO GO TO WORK EVERY DAY AT THE REAL. I have NO GREAT LOVE FOR FOX WHICH IS CHANNEL 5 in NYC since ALL THE RACIAL COMMENTS THEY MADE ABOUT PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA DURING HIS CAMPAIGN. Up until 3 years ago I refuse to watch that CHANNEL could easily stop watching Channel 5 AGAIN
