MTV’s ‘The Real Wold: Go Big or Go Home’ has been met by a racism shocker after an African-American contestant was asked to “pick cotton” during her time on the series.

Full story below.

This season of the hit series introduced fans to a young lady named Jenna Thomason who startled viewers with remarks many deemed to be racist.

There to support her and show her the error of her ways? Cast mate Ceejai Jenkins, the fun-loving African-American fan favourite.

Alas, her time on the series delivered one of its more shocking moments when she was racially assaulted during an argument with the Southern Thomason.

Smh…. #therealworld

A reference to CeeJai’s ancestral ties to African-American chattle slavery, the remark aired during the show’s finale episode shot three days before filming wrapped.

For her part in the scandal and remarks she’d made earlier on in the explosive season, Thomason was evicted and was shortly followed by Jenkins who left the series after retaliating on-camera.

Trash tv beating up a girl because her friend said something racist smh.

    • Love May 27, 2016

If you watched the show or read the article you’d know that the girl has been racist all thoughout the season. I’m glad this happened. Now people can see that racism is deep rooted into the psychology of Americans. It was so easy for her to say those words. Why? Because it’s embedded in her world view. Black people shouldn’t feel ashamed or silenced any longer. Racism against us is real and we won’t take it any longer.

      • Molly May 27, 2016

        ?????

    • #TeamTinashe Stan May 27, 2016

Shut up! That would be your dumb ass on TV getting WHOPPED for even defending her when she also said racist things.

    • JT May 27, 2016

Nah this cannot run. If you watched the show you would know Ceejai CONSTANTLY gave Jenna chance after chance, as well as Dean. They tried to positively school her on racism even though they knew her views and racist environment she came from and after Jenna keep racially insulting them, they still tried hard to not rise to it until Ceejai had enough.

    • Annalise May 28, 2016

      I wanna PUNCH u!

    • Idiot May 28, 2016

Someone gets racially assaulted and the first thing you do is attack the victim? Dickhead.

    • Kayla Jordan May 28, 2016

Her Friend said it, Buts it’s like she cosigned on it Because she didn’t check for saying it, you don’t say nothing like that, that was wrong.

  2. Credits May 27, 2016

I bet her friend felt that beating Over Skype too.

  3. #JACKIE May 27, 2016

Girl if you gonna throw hands, THROW THEM!
SN: I didn’t even know the real world still existed.

  4. No favs, just here for the music May 27, 2016

Just showcases how simple-minded white ppl are. Whenever there is an issue or disagreement with anyone who is black or poc in general, the only thing their brains could ever process is a bunch of racist s*** instead of addressing the issue. White ppl are something else I tell ya. Just disgusting and vile.

    • Bey Sting May 27, 2016

Let’s not generalise. White supremacy is not the problem not white people. Did you see how thick and fast she was throwing out those racist jokes? I wonder where she learned them from and I wonder why she finds the raping, torturing and murdering of enslaved human beings funny. Intergenerational slavery trauma cuts both ways and this proves that many people still hold views held by their ancestors. Southern shame indeed.

  5. Bey Sting May 27, 2016

But black people are too sensitive right? I’m happy she got her behind handed to her. As per usual, people will jump to her defence and call it “stupidity” but those who know know.

  6. Jane Doe May 27, 2016

But I thought racism was a figment of the black imagination? I thought racism died once we got a black president? Hmmm. I guess those “oversensitive” blacks aren’t crazy after all.

  7. #TeamTinashe Stan May 27, 2016

I watched the first episode and the white girl was already stereotyping black people and the black girl told her to chill and still was trying to be her friend but she still continued to talk with negativity out of her mouth regarding black people.

    • Jane Doe May 27, 2016

Yea!!! She really tried her best to help her change her way of thinking. Do you Remember the season of big brother when something similar happened. All this does is prove that the effects of Slavery still linger in our society and that black people need to stop apologising for getting upset about these kind of things. See how easily that dirty cow was to find humor in something so horrific

I watch the challenge all the time, but The Real World is so pre 2008. But that’s how White people are, they’ll troll up and down and as soon as you hit them, they’re shocked and how could you lose control. I bet she cried and played the Poor Little White Girl Cries card. #OhWell

    • TMM May 28, 2016

Im white and I’m the opposite of what you think ‘White People’ are

  9. Authentic May 27, 2016

It’s an illness that someone believes they are worth more based on race or ethnics alone. I noticed allot of times white people take advantage of privalage while denying it even exist… Just live a little longer my friends or go to the South

    • King Mark111 /.\ May 27, 2016

tO ME, LIFE IS A GAME OF CARDS and you are delt with the cards you have. Everyone has some type of privilege. I have the privilege of walking down a street at night not not have to worry about getting r****. If you’re a fine good looking woman, you have a privilege over a big fat Molly that men will do whatever you like or get some jobs as a model or whatever. Molly is fat and ugly, she don’t have that priv. The problem with Whites is that they think simply because they’re born White, a skin color makes them better. And you have the right to think that, but if you troll someone and pick at them to the point that they beat your face in, that’s part of the game. Now they think not saying any rude and disrepectful thing is being PC. They don’t know the meaning of the word, they just want it to be like it used to be. But that day will never happen and they’re mad. lol

  10. B_Roni May 27, 2016

Black girl is an idiot and the right girl is one too. This proves that people let stuff get to them. This is why New York gets called everything in the book but she is making money because she does not let things get to her. You let some girl get you kicked off the show and now you both also t even be remembered . Smh. Nobody could get to me like this or hurt my feelings both girls are wrong in my eyes but the white girl needs prayer. Something is wrong with her.

    • King Mark111 /.\ May 27, 2016

      Shut up h**!

      • B_Roni May 27, 2016

Nope sorry . Speaking my opinion. Violence is violence . Both girls are ignorant. Even when my fave Rih does crazy stuff I don’t praise it. Don’t even know why you bothered to respond to me. Lol

      • King Mark111 /.\ May 27, 2016

        You’re a c^nt. That’s my opinion. Don’t be sensitive.

      • B_Ronibl May 27, 2016

Blah blah blah. Lol your opinion is your opinion. Hope your having a great today as well. In the words of the great Rihanna…. “When you learn to love yourself, you wouldn’t want to be anyone else.”

    • Danzou May 27, 2016

Queen Mark it’s a good thing no one pays you any attention ??

      • King Mark111 /.\ May 27, 2016

        Yet here you are.

  11. ???????Chile, take this “Itty Bitty Piggy” to the market and make sure you hold her hand while crossing the street!??????? May 27, 2016

I just knew it was gonna be Jenna before I even clicked the title. I’m glad that ugly bodied h** got that ass handed to her. Bet self-hating colorstruck Dean is gonna cape for her and come to her defense, though.

  12. The Kpop Guy, Matt~ May 27, 2016

This type of shít happens on TGJ all the time so i’m yawning while you guys get in your feels.

  13. ???????Chile, take this “Itty Bitty Piggy” to the market and make sure you hold her hand while crossing the street!??????? May 27, 2016

Crazy, inbred, hillbilly, degenerate, backwoods, racist, cow manure shoveling, basic, prematurely-wrinkled p** stuy of a redneck talking about “Dean, you’re a big, tall guy. Don’t get in my face like that.” Meanwhile, she didn’t say that when Chris was all up in her face cussing her out for filth. Hmm…double standard much?

    • Annalise May 28, 2016

      YASSSS u betta go AWFFFF!

  14. Fancy BISH May 27, 2016

I’m so TIRED of SOME white people THINKING they are superior…SCREAMING, especially when the majority of white people in America look like Donald Trump, Mama June and Honey Boo Boo lol

  15. Malcolm May 27, 2016

All the black girl did is prove what the white girl was saying, she fell right into the stereotypical violent black woman trope. I see white people called cracker everyday by black people, but white people could care less about the opinion of black people because they have an innate sense of worth not dependent on acceptance from other ethnic groups.A white person could call me n***** as long as they don’t touch me, I would find it funny and would just think of them as ignorant.

    • OMG Logic!!! May 27, 2016

Actually, White people don’t react negatively to being called a Cracker because society has scared them into feeling that that’s okay. It is not okay. No racism from any race is okay.

      • Hmmm…. May 27, 2016

Actually, white people dont react negatively to being called cracker because generations of white people weren’t lynched while mobs of black people gathered around chanting, “Kill the cracker, goodbye cracker”. Words have power and the word “cracker” does not have that kind of baggage. Cracker is not the white equivalent of the n word and white people are not institutionally oppressed.

      • HALF AMAZIN May 28, 2016

        You better tell him!!!!!!!!

    • Hmmm…. May 27, 2016

How do you figure white people aren’t dependent on acceptance when hystorically, the need to place themselves above other people based on a physical attribute stems from insecurity? White people have an innate sense of worth because they ARE dependent on acceptance. So much so that they had to systematically and categorically marginalize, dehumanize, and paralyze other groups of people in order assert their own superior status.

      • OMG Logic!!! May 28, 2016

The same could be said of every single race on the planet at some point in time. It just so happens that White people have had their time to shine in the last 500 years.

      • Idiot May 28, 2016

‘Hmmm’ said everything that needs to be said!

    • Mar May 28, 2016

To the black folk that say a white person could call them a n**** and you’d find it funny, your complete idiots and disrespectful to your ancestors that went through torture for you. Violence ain’t the way, but demeaning a person ain’t no different. Jeanna sat and laughed with her friend and was still talking s*** after the fact. She is a racist and deserved everything she got and more.

  16. Junior in Jamaica May 27, 2016

    B*tch deserved it!

  17. OMG Logic!!! May 27, 2016

I don’t condone violence, but I was rooting homegirl on all the way. I personally don’t feel there’s anything racist with the word ratchet though. Anyone can be ratchet. Just look at Ke$ha.

Honestly, I’m proud she took so long to snap. That Southern Belle looked like she had her face being punched in a long time coming.

  18. SoldierOfLove May 27, 2016

Your friends are a reflection of you. Overall I thought it was funny, her fat pie face looked like it needed a good punch lol

  19. Yes girl May 28, 2016

    She deserved it.

  20. Bravo!! May 28, 2016

I’m happy she f*** her up! This is not 1950 as a African American we will not stand for this ignorant s***.. I blame this on Donalad trump. One day there will be a war and it will be in the United States.

  21. Taylor swifts number 1 fan!!! May 28, 2016

Racism is always going to be here… Even at a classy show like the oscars, Chris rock was racist towards Asian people. Does this make him racist?

  22. B&B May 28, 2016

Anyone who defends the white girl’s racist comments is racist. Anyone who defends the black girl for whooping her ass is violent. Period.

  23. Janet May 28, 2016

Okay so saying all white people are like this cow is the same as saying all black people steal. The other white people in the house were appalled by the white girl and her friends language and rudeness. Im white and I would be so uncomfortable if I heard anyone speaking to another person this way. I dont condone violence, but b**** needed her ass kicked. That being said, please dont drag all white people for this woman’s antics.

    • B May 28, 2016

Being an uncomfortable spectator does not give you the right nor are you qualified to tell black people how they should address racist white people. We’ve been waiting on white people to comprehend abuse that they inflict upon us for centuries. It’s the passive, uncomfortable attitude of white people that still has us ALL here and that forces black people to retaliate in such a way. Raise your consciousness as a white person to understand that t you are outside the conversation. It’s not about you and we don’t have time for small print or to care about your white feelings. You’re either fighting with us or you’re on the other side. We’re not the ones killing you so toughen up and deal with it. I’m not gonna excuse the white spectators who watched black people get lynched therefore I’m not gonna excuse the white people who passive stood their and commented on the racism without directly responding to an issue. They should of had the black girls back. She shouldn’t have felt so alone that she had to put her hands on this overtly racist white woman. It’s not my job as a black person (I’m mixed) to excuse you from the list, that’s your job. Stay out your white feelings.

  24. S****** Blonde May 28, 2016

    They’re both trash.

  25. Kayla Jordan May 28, 2016

You cannot compare the word cracker to the word N*****, White people did not suffer behind the word cracker, so please stop using that as a excuse fore white people to feel free to use the N Word.

  28. Jess July 27, 2017

The real world go home was f****** stupid.they all where overly sensitive on race and abuse and blah blah
One thing I couldn’t understand is Jenna was play fighting with someone and cj asked why she didn’t take up for herself and Jenna told her she’s used to it cause she has been in an abusive relationship.then a few days later that black man scared her or something and Jenna told him not to do that that it scared her then cj had a problem with it and turned it into a race thing yet again and Kayla ugh she’s gucking nasty to
