Her name? Storm.
Though not included in Ryan Coogler‘s version of Panther’s tale, the character’s first love was none other than the X-Men’s beloved “mistress of the elements” who he met as a teen after she rescued him from a racist villain named Andreas de Ruyter.
Years later, the pair wed making Storm the Queen of Wakanda.

That’s my hops she’s my favorite super hero of all time, I don’t know who would play her, I thought at one time Angela Basset was the best person to play her she’s has that aura especially after seeing her in the coven, but we all know now she’s black panther mother so she can’t be both
She is too old anyway. I would go for a new actress, but I guess it will be the girl from the X-Men Apocalypse Movie, though I know a lot of readers here didnt like her. Wonder why there is such a hatred towards lighter skinned dark girls? I mean, I get why a lot would like to see darker skinned girls, but there is a lot of hate towards light skinned girls, which I think is unfair as they did not chose their skin, as did nobody…

Storm is so underrated ??
Yes, yes a Storm movie is needed ASAP. Storm needs to be played by a new/young actress probably an unknown like what was done for Wonder Woman. No singers just real certified acting school actresses. I like Mishael Morgan (excellent soap opera actress that plays Hillary from The Young and the Restless) or Aja Naomi King (excellent actress on How to Get Away With Murder). The actress should not be light bright near white either because Storm isnt that way in the comics. There are talented brown and dark skinned actresses that need a chance to play Storm in an epic movie. Just look at the success of Black Panther, whose main female leads are dark skinned. Their casting didn’t stop white people from seeing the movie or it being any less successful. Storm is not white or close to being white.
The original storm in the comic book was dark skinned. Why shouldn’t people be mad at the fact that a light skin girl is playing this dark skinned character?
I’ve been saying it since the very first xmen movie, storm NEEDS her own movie! This isn’t even up for debate. Marvel, you betta!
How dope would that be?! I think Teyana Taylor would be great for the role tbh? think about it, she has the same facial features of storm, the same body & the same tone of voice..
