During last week’s Presidential Debate, Republican nominee Donald J. Trump alluded to the infidelities of Bill Clinton, the husband of his esteemed Democratic running mate Hillary Clinton.
Today, before election day arrives on November 8th, we revisit one of the scandals Trump is expected to use to malign the benevolent Mrs. Clinton during their forthcoming debate on October 9th 2016.
Meet Monica Lewinsky below…
The affair came to light in 1998 after Lewinsky’s friend at the time,Linda Tripp, recorded private conversations they’d shared and delivered them Kenneth Star who was already investigating Clinton on other controversial matters.
The last to know about all of this? Mrs. Clinton, who, putting the needs of the nation first, took to the press to defend her husband against allegations she believed were false.
Attacked by detractors in the media as she fought for education and healthcare reform, Clinton soon found herself humiliated before the public’s eyes once the White House was no longer able to deny that the affair took place.
