Welcome to Screen Juice, the TGJ original feature created to keep you in the loop with all things TV & Film related.
Who makes up the ingredients in today’s blend?
‘My Wife & Kids‘ star Noah Gray-Cabey and ‘Cousin Skeeter‘ player Robert Ri’Chard.
CBS’ ‘Code Black’ has welcomed Noah to its cast to portray a resident at ER of Angels Memorial Hospital.
The name of his character? Elliot Han, a doctor often overwhelmed by the confusion and catastrophe the hospital is often faced with.
Catch him action when the show returns on September 28th.
July 3rd will deliver ‘Bad Dad Rehab’ set to air on TV One.
Fronted by Malik Yoba, the original movie also stars ‘Cousin Skeeter’ star Robert Ri’Chard who had this to say about the project.
He told TGJ:
I can’t wait for people to see it. It puts a magnifying glass on irresponsible fathers and why they act they way they do. My character is one of them, he’s a hopeless romantic and is too immature to step up to the responsibility of being a father. It’s produced by Roger Bobb and gave me the opportunity to employ method acting in ways I haven’t before. Some of the scenes you’ll see when it airs tomorrow were actually created on the spot by myself because I didn’t stop acting when the cameras stopped rolling.
For me, the movie and playing this role has been therapeutic because of things going on in my own life and is going to expose things about people who may not have recognised certain things about themselves. It’s definitely not a male bashing movie but it does mirror what’s happening out there and shows the importance of a male presence in all families. It’s definitely one for the entire family.
