Almost a decade after ‘ATL’ hit the big screen, lead T.I. has revealed that another instalment of the smash Urban movie is nigh!

On Instagram today, the rapper posted the snap below of himself with director Chris Robinson and cast-mates including Jackie Long and Jason Weaver.
The caption attached read:
“#ATL2 Get Ready”
Shortly after, Robinson joined the fun by sharing the same pic with the message:
“#ATL WAS A CLASSIC #ATL2 WILL BE LEGENDARY!!! AND SO IT BEGINS’ THE CREW @troubleman31 @jackielong @albeback @itsjasonweaver #RITF #BONG.”
Originally released in 2006, the first film (which was loosely based on the life of Dallas Austin and TLC’s T-Boz) opened at #3 at the US box office and grossed an impressive $11 million in its premiere weekend (solid given its Urban skew).
