Teaser: Queen Latifah Joins Forthcoming Master P Biopic [Video]

Published: Wednesday 29th Mar 2017 by Rashad

‘No Limit’ leader Master P is next hip hop hitmaker in line to see his life story adapted to the screen.

The New Orleans rapper, whose rags to riches story saw him amass a collection of platinum plaques across 75 million records sold, Billboard hits galore, fame, and fortune along the way, is now turning that tale into a full length feature film titled ‘Ice Cream Man:  The King of the South.’

And, to ensure the project is a success, P has tapped another rap royal to assist:  Queen Latifah…

Casting for the film begins next week.  No word on its expected release date.

Sorry but we no one wants to see this… we all know who he is going to cast to play him anyway. Nobody wants to see Romeo play his dad. If they want to make a movie, show us why he is dismissing and abandoning his baby’s momma for all his damn kids and bashing her as unfit and unstable.

Nothing wrong with Romeo playing his dad if he fits the part and His baby mama is a crackhead nuffsaid!.

And has a whole boyfriend. She didn’t rap not one song, sing one hook or write one melody. She doesn’t deserve a dime. The children don’t even respect her.

Why is EVERYONE MAKING A DAMN BIO-PIC because of New Edition had a bio-pic? ??‍♂️

I’m here for the biopics especially if the actual Artist are involved during the process. It’s good to show the new generation the impact these Artist had. Master P influenced a lot of rappers after him and he did it all on his own say what you want but he definitely has a seat at the table with puffy & Jay-Z

I am so sick and tired of all of these RANDOM artists being gifted an opportunity to see their lives plastered across the big screen. It seems that the 2016 success of STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON has summoned just any and everyone to think that their story is just as worthy or intriguing. Im sorry…but it is NOT.

Between the rushed LIFETIME stories and now all of these green-lit cinematic stories, its all becoming rather annoying. Certain entertainers have not contributed enough to the world of entertainment or the social paradigm PERIOD to be granted this type of platform.

NO ONE GIVES TWO SHITS ABOUT MASTER P.

This summers Tupac story, however, is an example of a biopic worth the investment and distribution.

You don’t speak for everyone so don’t say no one cares about this movie. You don’t know s*** about Master P and how he came up but I bet you one of the f*** talking bout “Rihanna owns her masters she a boss”. This man rivaled established record labels with how big him and his label got. Master p was a boss and I and millions of other ppl want to know his story.
