Mona Scott Young scores yet another hit for VH1 – this time in the form of the Omarion & Ray J-led cast of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.’
Bringing in a whopping 2.8 million viewers, no other program (sans Monday night football) tallied as many viewers in the adult age range of 18-49. This victory comes just days after reports surfaced online that ‘Hollywood’s parent show – ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,’ saw its finale top ratings tallies across the board (even putting the Kardashians to shame).
While it remains to be seen if the show will keep its momentum, one is clear is that it may need to rub some of its good luck off on talk show ‘The Real.’ For, if reports are to be believed, they need it:
“The new ensemble daytime talk show hosted by Loni Love, Tamar Braxton, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon earned less-than-stellar ratings with its debut episode.
The syndicated chat show premiered on Monday and only landed a 0.9 rating. Those numbers put the show 40-percent below its lead-in. “The Real” dropped 10-percent compared to the shows it replaced in timeslots this year. Expectation for the show was high going into the Fall 2014 season, as the show performed exceptionally strong in its four-week test run on Fox-owned stations in select markets in July 2013. “
Here’s hoping things pick up for the ladies.
