She’s the supermodel turned super mogul.

Now, after announcing that Rita Ora was to replace her on her hit show ‘America’s Next Top Model’, Tyra Banks has teamed up with NBC to launch a TV show.

Its quest? To find America’s next top entrepreneur.

Banks will stand as an advisor on the revamped version of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ and has now teamed up with its mother network NBC to build a series of her very own.

Its name? ‘Funded.’

On it, Banks and two other entrepreneurs (Rob Dyrdek and Rohan Oza) will mentor means who must compete with each other to win a $1 million investment from a venture capitalist at the end of each episode.

Dangerously similar to ‘Dragons’ Den‘ and ‘Shark Tank’, the series will air following Banks’ departure from ‘The FAB Life’ and ‘Top Model.’

The latter, which is to be revived by VH1 less than a year after its cancellation will still see her serve as an executive producer and guide her replacement Rita Ora as she finds her footing on the televised modelling competition.

Good for Tyra. She is great on tv.

Still upset her ABC talk show was not a revival of The Tyra Banks Show and instead FABLife.
    ?
I think a reboot would have been successful because she was not a bad talk show host with her mini Oprah 5 year run.

omg yasssss, you are so right.
I still watch episodes from the show on YouTube.
If social media was around back then, the show would’ve never ended.
she had great topics to touch on, like bleaching, crazy preachers, and of course, Beyonce and Janet were on the show multiple times.

Yeah people like her and she had that reach which seems effortless. Like I feel like Wendy had to work to get white viewers to watch her but Tyra just knew how to speak to them from the jump, probably thanks to Top Model hosting tbh.

Either way I could have seen Tyra be an Oprah successor before Wendy, because while I find Wendy entertaining she just can’t really hold down a serious topic or interview without making it into a joke somehow.

Tyra should give it up. All these t.v shows when her talk show was good. She cancelled it cus she was tired. In better news I hope rih puts out “s** with me” as her next single or “never ending”
