As the world continues to learn of the suspicious deaths of African-American women Sandra Bland and LaVena Johnson MTV explored what it means to be a Caucasian person in a arguably racist society.

How they did it? With ‘White People’, a documentary created by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and filmmaker, Jose Antonio Vargas.

    I’m gonna watch. It was hilarious seeing the racist Twitter trolls meltdown over this documentary last night. They were even in the director’s mentions calling him an “illegal” and telling him to go back to Mexico although he’s not even from there.

    It was really good. Sometimes MTV gets it right. I think because of the in your face title, it will scare people off. Just like the film Dear White People. But as they say, don’t judge a book by its cover… or title.
