Will Smith Pulls Out Of New Movie Role

Published: Friday 10th Feb 2017 by David

Will Smith has had a change of heart and decided to step away from a major movie role.

Details on his shocking decision below…

Smith was in talks to play in Tim Burton‘s live-action remake of ‘Dumbo’.

In it, he was to portray the father of the family who bonds with the big-eared elephant. However, due to concerns surrounding salary and scheduling concerns, he has decided to step away from the release leaving the role open for another actor to fill.

Shadow and Act adds:

The actor was said to be Disney’s top choice to star in the family film that is based on the 1941 animation about a big-eared circus elephant. Should he have signed on, Smith would’ve played a key role as the father of children who form a bond with Dumbo. Tom Hanks was also offered a role as the film’s villain.

I say this because every movie Will Smith has walked away from or passed on, went on to be major box office hits.

“They” said that Will was dropped from the role because Disney did not feel he was wOrth all the money he was asking for and he wanted to cast one of his kids too. Disney decided to go with a more affordable and relevant actor instead.

Disney felt that none of his recent movies outside of S****** Squad has generated any meaningful revenue. Therefore he’s no longer worth the large salary he still commands.

Disney needs to pull some strings to get this man back on board!

Whether they need to push the film back to make room for Wills schedule or whatever, But the need to cater to him, They said he was their first choice, And we all know this movie will be huge success with him in it.
