Fans of ‘Empire’ star Jussie Smollett may know him best as the show’s feisty singing sensation Jamal, but they may not know that before the show the singer/songwriter/actor was already part of an “empire” – the Smollett family.
Full of singers, actors, and more, the entertainment family – first brought to the Hollywood spotlight by sister Jurnee – is now showing off yet another of their many talents: cooking. Led by the family chef, Jake, the siblings – Jussie, Jurnee, Jocqui, Jojo, and Jazz – are inviting viewers into their homes to get a peek at how they throw down in the kitchen.

I’ve been a fan of the Smolletts since I was like 8 years old. Especially Jurnee. I always love to see them doing well.
