Following a fairly stealth-like 2013, Alexandra Burke has gifted her fans morsels of new material.

Taking to her Facebook page, the Pop powerhouse shared snippets of two new songs from her third studio album.

As previously reported, the X Factor alum jetted to the US to record much of the hotly anticipated LP, clocking in studio time with the likes of Rico Love, Kareem James, and the production team behind many of Drake‘s hits.

The R&B King that is Trey Songz samples Teena Marie’s  ‘Ooo La La La’ on his brand new single ‘NaNa‘, released to the world minutes ago.

Standing as the surprise he teased yesterday, the cut sees the performer stick to the ‘baby-making R&B’ formula that he’s most renown for and serve a hook that screams hit.

Unfortunately, despite its infectious vibe, the jam’s lyrics and verses let it down, with its production and Songz’ vocals demanding far more than the ‘I wanna get down tonight’ theme the cut served up.

Perched at the top of the R&B food chain once again this year was Kelly Rowland, whose recent collaboration with Fantasia and Missy Elliott earned her a brand new Grammy nomination  weeks ago.

It was this good news, coupled with her recent stint on ‘X Factor USA’, that took her to David Letterman‘s ‘The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson‘, marking an appearance that ticked many a fun-filled box from start to finish.
