Joined by ‘The Roots‘, the Hip Hop pair rocked the stage sans the cut’s other contributor Nas, delivered after its supporting album ‘Hall of Fame’ topped Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums upon its August 27th release!

 As sales of her second studio album skate well past the 5 million sold worldwide milestone, this week has brought with it the first week sales predictions for its more radio friendly follow up ‘ARTPOP‘.

Predictions, from the ever accurate Hits Daily Double. The same ‘Double’ who predicted Rihanna would score her first #1 album with ‘Unapologetic’ weeks before its November 2012 release.

Grammy winning gospel songstress Le’andria Johnson set the net ablaze hours ago when messages were lifted to her Twitter slamming Music World Gospel label head/famed manager Matthew Knowles (father of pop superstar Beyonce) for being a “crook”.

The original message (which has now been removed) was accompanied with a phone number soliciting media requests for interviews.  As word quickly spread across the Web and courted the attention of secular and gospel outlets alike, it appears the ‘Sunday Best’ champion’s team is trying to shut down the story.

The general public may have given the movie the positive reviews it longed for, but it seems TLC‘s ‘Crazy Sexy Cool‘ biopic has rubbed many of the ladies’ former ‘acquaintances’ the wrong way.

For, as former manager Pebbles continue to face the wrath of many a music lover for her portrayal in the piece, the sister of Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes has now come forward to express the ‘hurt’ her family felt, due to the involvement – or lack of – they were allowed to have in crafting the finished and allegedly accurate product.

Atlantic City welcomed John Legend and Tamar Braxton its shores last week, greeting the pair as they continue on in the former’s ‘Made To Love’ stage show, in which the latter is supporting.

It was there, in proving the skill and determination that’s taken to the top of the R&B pack, that she dazzled their audience with a riveting rendition of her signature single ‘Love & War‘, armed with a band and the voice that continues to grace many a playlist by way of the cut’s supporting album.

Not sure why there’s already talk of major Grammy nominations heading her way?
