Today sees Eve‘s long-awaited LP ‘Lip Lock’ strut its way into US stores.

The comeback collection is the fiery femcee’s first studio album in over ten years and has, itself, been in the making for almost seven.

In a bid to leave no promo stone unturned, the ‘She Bad Bad’ rapper stopped by Hot 97 radio today to chat about the album, how love saw her move to London, and her Fetish clothing line. And while largely laid-back, the interview certainly had its “moments” particularly when the topic of ex boyfriend Stevie J (of Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta fame) was brought up. Let’s just say Ms. Jeffers proved that she’s still all sorts of Philly.

As to tribute his mother and the gem that is Ciara‘s ‘Got Me Good‘, budding dancer ‘Brads1star‘ shared a moving ‘Mother’s Day’ clip of he and his mother performing their very own routine to the euphoric number.

Choreographed by the pair and uploaded to Google’s YouTube, we came across the clip this morning and knew we had to share it with you guys as soon as we saw it.

With Beyonce dominating the world via her H&M Summer 2013 campaign, Ciara soaring with ‘Body Party‘ and Chris Brown back in the arms of Karrueche Tran, we’re sure the last few weeks have been pretty tough for Pop sensation Rihanna.

However, in what saw her exit the mean streets of Instagram and return to her day job, the tardy nocalist enjoyed a late night studio session in NYC two nights ago, prompting unconfirmed reports that she is hard at work on brand new material!

Before it drops in full on Wednesday, Elijah Blake‘s ‘XOX’ video received an epic promo boost tonight when BET unveiled the official sneak peek for the clip tonight.

That’s right, after weeks of anticipation- tomorrow will see the song become available for purchase on iTunes, with the video dropping on 106 &Park one day later- months before the launch of his debut album…the follow up to the Def Jam/Roc Nation led ‘Bijoux 22‘.

London’s ‘The Shard’ found itself swarmed with shutter bugs last night, when ‘Fragments Of Time’ creators Daft Punk held their album listening party at the Sellar venue.

However, as the snap above can attest to, the group’s new material stood as just one of the reasons the event made for an interesting night.

For, days after returning from LA, Rita Ora arrived at the party hand in hand with ‘I’m Not Alone’ producer Calvin Harris.

Escorted in the spot by police, their sighting comes two years after the entertainer crafted the smash hit single ‘We Found Love‘ for Rita’s ROC sister Rihanna and days after fans caught the ‘ORA’ singer in brand new movie ‘Fast & Furious 6′.

After the wake of Destiny’s Child disbandment, “Making the Band” winners Danity Kane seemed poised to quickly fill the trio’s “girl group” void.  Armed with all the makings of a diva syndicate (i.e. – actual talent), the fivesome – comprised of Aubrey O’Day, D. Woods, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres – flew to the top of charts on the wings of songs like ‘Show Stoppers’ and ‘Damaged’.

Despite their successes, the group barely made it out of album #2 before announcement their disbandment.  And, while the likes of O’Day, Richard, and Woods all went on to varying levels of success, fans still longed for the full effect of the quintet.

Well, fans should long no more if reports that surfaced today are to be believed.  Find out what we mean below:

We know what you’re thinking. And don’t worry, we are too. Ashanti is still trying to find the pulse of her ‘Braveheart’ project.

Initially due for release in 2011, the LP has been marred by countless delays and singles that have sold all of nothing. And yet still she continues. Commendable case of perseverance or woeful time-wasting? At this point, we’re not sure the masses care either way.

What is certain, though, is that a snippet of a new track from the LP titled ‘She’ Can’t (Like Mine)’ awaits after the jump…

 As we’re sure Mariah Carey will agree, radio deals are ‘#Beautiful’.

The vocal icon is enjoying renewed (chart) relevancy with her comeback single; a feat many argue is thanks to a costly yet effective Clear Channel  deal which saw the Miguel assisted cut play every hour on the hour on five radio formats upon its debut.

Still, we’re all for such setups when the song is deserving and “deserving” ‘#Beautiful’ is.

Keen to keep the momentum going ahead of her big performance on American Idol this week, the diva extreme has released another look at the track’s Joseph Kahn directed video.
