After what turned out be an ‘adventurous’ seven days, ROC rebel Rihanna’s ‘777’ Tour finally came to an end last night in NYC.

Taking her lack luster show to Webster Hall, the Pop Princess enjoyed the company of long time mentors Jay Z, Tyty and mastermind Jay Brown with whom she travelled with on the week long tour.

In a continued effort to push her social networking presence, Pop winner Beyonce hit her Tumblr page yesterday sharing a number of fierce new snaps.

Rocking a golden casual look, the 16 time Grammy winner uploaded the pics to her personal account, ‘iambeyonce’, four months before she performs at Superbowl 2013, as part of the promotional packaging for her fifth studio album.

Not content with blazing Urban radio with her own single ‘Ice’, Kelly Rowland is notching up collaboration after collaboration, the latest being Future‘s new single ‘Neva End (Remix)’.

The video for the cut premiered moments ago and is the first to be lifted from the re-release of the MC’s debut album ‘Pluto 3D’ – which hits stores on November 27th.

Undeterred, the R&B crooner has unwrapped the video for the project’s 4th single ‘Never Again’.

With the song’s title reflecting the views of many who once purchased his music, Trigga is tasked with serving up a compelling enough product to reverse his fortunes.

Last week, ‘Karma’ singer Alicia Keys generated momentum for her new LP when she gave an very open interview to ‘JET‘ Magazine, discussing her relationship with world renown producer Swizz Beatz.

In the mag, she explained that despite numerous reports, he was indeed separated from his then wife Mashonda when he ‘got together’ with her.

Problem is…. Alicia is the only one who shares that point of view. For this week, three years after echoing similar sentiments, Mashonda has revealed that she was still with Beatz when he began- what she describes as- an affair with Ms. ‘Girl On Fire’.

Our culture is collectively becoming more stylized, making substance a thing of the past.  As image drives the culture, often filling media with airbrushed or digitally altered representations of “beautiful”, the standard of beauty has never been more sought.  An anomaly indeed given that statistics have proven most of the people subscribing to those very standards oft do not meet them.

So, what’s the big deal?
