Mariah Carey may be a diva, yet the songstress certainly knows how to tug at the heartstrings.

The 43-year-old, who is riding high from the success of new single ‘#Beautiful’,  shared this warming snap of her enjoying a “festive” moment with mother Patricia Carey and two-year-old daughter Monroe Carey-Cannon.

As Mimi’s ever-loyal Lambs know, the singer learnt her craft from Patricia – who is an Opera vocalist.

In other Mariah news, fresh reports suggest her upcoming album may hit stores sooner than expected. Current pencilled-in dates suggest a Summer release is imminent.

While the music world awaits the official kick-off of Beyonce‘s new album campaign, the singer’s first (complete) new song in three years, ‘Rise Up’, has received a digital release.

Now available to purchase on Amazon, the Sia-penned anthem – which features in Bey’s mega-grossing movie ‘Epic’, can now be heard in high quality.

Like much of the diva’s new material, the roll-out of ‘Rise’ was wrapped in quite the conundrum as it was initially omitted from the film’s soundtrack — despite being “the” song used to promote it.

In any case, there’s no confusion as to where you can listen to the stellar number. ‘Rise Up’ awaits after the jump…

Since blazing back onto the scene with last Summer’s ‘Put It Down’, Brandy has not looked back.

Indeed, after wracking up critical acclaim for her comeback effort ‘Two Eleven’, the soon-to-be Mrs. Press nabbed high profile role in Tyler Perry’s ‘Temptation’ movie and was upgraded to a regular on BET hit ‘The Game’.

Keen to keep her momentum going, the 34-year-old has signed to a major talent agency. All the details after the jump…

So how does she intend to ensure this happens?

The self-proclaimed ‘Queen of All Media’ Wendy Williams edges one-step closer to validating that claim as reports have surfaced indicating the talk show diva has had her show renewed to 2017.

Seeing substantial growth in ratings over the past year (an estimated 81,000 a day more than last season‘s), the Hollywood Reporter informs of key facts that led to the show’s three year renewal.

Via THR:

“Wendy‘s renewal comes on the heels of a year of ratings growth for the syndicated talker, especially among the key demographic group of women 25-54. The show grew 43 percent in the past year, according to Debmar-Mercury (a division of Lionsgate). That gave it a 1.2 rating and 8 percent share of the daytime metered markets.”

Congratz are in order to the diva who is not only developing reality and game shows via her own production company, but is also prepping for a stint on Broadway’s “Chicago” (starting June 25).

Queen of Pop Madonna reigned over Billboard Touring charts this year with her blockbuster ‘MDNA’ tour.  Seeing it smash the box office to the tune of a whooping $305 million generated sales with 2.2 million in attendance overall, the Material Girl is undoubtedly hoping fans tune into EPIX in similar droves to see her perform her latest material as well as the golden oldies.

Set for air June 22nd at 8pm ET, new clips from the forthcoming show have made their way to the net.  Proving that even past the half-century mark she can still get down with the best of ’em, see her high-spirited showing of her 2012 hit ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ below:

While the masses are getting their first taste of Mario‘s triumphant, Nicki Minaj-enlisted return ‘Somebody Else’, the Polow Da Don-produced tune was reportedly up for serve first by fellow crooner Chris Brown.

Brown, who is in promo mode to prep the release of his highly anticipated ‘X’ album, can be heard pulling double duty over the heartbreaking number – singing and rapping to tell the story of love gone awry.

Does the ‘Run It’ beau run this one better or does Mario do it most justice?  Listen below and you decide:

Cop a gander of Kelly Rowland!

The R&B chanteuse and X Factor judge is keeping busy this week, shooting not one but two new music videos. And while the visual for new single ‘Dirty Laundry’ is one of them, first up was her guest stint in Fantasia‘s Urban hit ‘Without Me’, the clip for which was shot yesterday in Los Angeles.

Little is known about the video’s concept; what is certain, though, is that Kelly looks all sorts of fierce in these newly surfaced snaps from the set.

If you haven’t already, take a listen to ‘Without Me’ after the jump…
