Jennifer Lopez is one of a select few stars tapped to cover PAPER Magazine‘s new Las Vegas edition.

Alongside rival Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin, and The Backstreet Boys, the star features in the issue which celebrates the names electrifying the iconic strip.

J.Lo’s wildly successful ‘All I Have’ residency has been thrilling audiences in Sin City for over two years.

In salute of the feat, the the media maven posed it up for a stunning spread lensed by Ellen von Unwerth.

At 48 (and fierce), La Lopez is proving that she is ageing like a fine wine and now boasts a winning narrative that is growing sweeter with time.

For much of Mariah Carey‘s early career, the songbird rocked gowns that covered her from head-to-toe.

Now, after blossoming like a ‘Butterfly’ and experiencing ‘Emancipation,’ Mimi seems eager to flaunt her curves at every chance.

And it appears that desire grows more by the year.

Case in point her new PAPER magazine cover feature.

Rocking a barely there ensemble, the 47 year old leads the special Las Vegas issue which celebrates the entertainers currently rocking Sin City.

Carey recently wrapped her ‘#1 To Infinity’ special there, but will be back at The Colosseum in December for Christmas run of shows.

Akon and Snoop Dogg‘s sizzling stripper’s anthem ‘I Wanna Love You’ is this week’s From The Vault pick.

After scoring a monumental hit with ‘Smack That,’ the pressure was on for Akon to etch his name on atop of the charts with another smash. And, while some struggle to meet the challenge, that’s exactly what he managed to do with this 2006 anthem.

Initially a feature with rapper Plies, the single version saw Snoop step into the guest spot.
Produced by the singer, it was another home-run for the duo shooting straight to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #3 on the UK Singles Chart.

The Benny Boom directed video showcased the stars surrounded by dancing video vixens; quite fitting given the song’s lyrics. Standard-fare, but engaging nonetheless.

Given his omnipresence for much of the mid 00’s, it’s odd that the Senegalese crooner isn’t doing much on the music front these days. At least on the mainstream playing field.

Still, we must give kudos to him for using his platform (one built on the success of songs like this) to push philanthropic causes and means of empowering his African homeland.

The charts can be fickle, but who knows: maybe he’ll have a second wind?
