The fallout from the 58th annual Grammy nominations continues.

Drake‘s domination the pop-cultural sphere with his hyper-hit ‘Hotline Bling’ led many to believe that he’d land many a nomination in the recently released tally.

However, it’s now emerged that a mistake at his embattled label Cash Money has caused what many have deemed one of the most pronounced injustices in recent years.

Mariah Carey is cementing her status as a Christmas maven for the ages.

The ever festive diva already boasts the only song to be deemed a Holiday classic in the last four decades and this year builds on that legacy with a lengthy list of Xmas activity.

As previously reported, she stars in and serves as executive producer of Hallmark‘s original TV movie ‘A Christmas Melody.’ And today, it’s been announced that that partnership will also see Mimi stage a one-hour televised concert.

Titled ‘Mariah Carey’s Merriest Christmas,’ the musical special features performances of Holiday songs from Carey herself, including a duet with 11-time Grammy winner Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds.

Additionally, Emmy winner Kelsey Grammer gives a reading of ‘The Night Before Christmas,’ while cast members from ‘A Christmas Melody’ join the festivities sharing holiday memories and experiences from working on the movie.

‘Mariah Carey’s Merriest Christmas’ airs immediately following the film at 10pm ET, December 19th, on Hallmark.

Rihanna is steadily unwrapping new album ‘ANTI,’ but does anyone actually care anymore?

For the last two weeks, the Bajan star has been “unlocking” doors as part of the LP’s ANTIdiary.com roll-out.

And while some of her Navy are fully tuned in, others have lost interest citing the complicated and convoluted nature of the campaign. One former fan even tweeted “girl, quit making us play “Where’s Waldo‘ and just drop the album already.”

Sentiments such as these come as industry insiders reveal less than stellar first week sales for the project in the US.

grammy snub janet jackson 2016 thatgrapejuice

It’s that time of year again!

Indeed, the air is still buzzing as yesterday brought with it the highly anticipated 2016 Grammy nominations unveiled, per usual, via an announcement special weeks before the actual showing.  But, what also comes with the ‘per usual’ announcement are the jaw-dropping surprises, snubs, and all out “shut-outs” that accompany the annual spectacle.

Always a heated debate-starter, the coveted tally saw the likes of Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Rihanna, Madonna, and more all go without mention.

For Bieber, whose manager made headlines for his rant regarding his 2013 Grammy shutout, his long-awaited nod came this year as, otherwise, it would’ve been a fourth-go-round despite consistently clocking some of the year’s biggest hits.  Like the ‘What Do You Mean’ maestro, Scott has been very vocal about shut-outs in the past.  And, while Omarion‘s rant is the main protest making headlines, we’re sure many more are to come.

In the meantime, tuck in below for our list of other surprises and snubs:

Last week, Erykah Badu set the net ablaze when she roasted Iggy Azalea at the Soul Train Music Awards.

Indeed, who didn’t chuckle when the eclectic songbird comically claimed that what the material Aussie femcee makes is “definitely not Rap.”

In true Azalea form, the moment didn’t go without a response – albeit one not directed at Badu head-on.

However, after the ‘Tyrone’ singer offered an olive branch last night, the 25-year-old replied with a comment that may surprise some.

Janet Jackson flashed her trademark smile while posing with a fan in London town this week.

The Queen of Pop is currently on a break from her globe-spanning ‘Unbreakable Tour,’ which successfully wrapped its first leg last month.

Ms. Jackson was snapped with the supporter at the Olivocarne Restaurant.

Beyond the sighting, UK fans can catch the performer when she returns to the region to ‘BURNITUP!’ on-stage during the European leg of the trek – which kicks off next March.
