23-year-old Ora has been everywhere of late as she gears of up for the release of ‘Testosterone’, the lead single from her hotly anticipated new album (which will dub as her American debut).
Indeed, beyond this new feature, the star has been shining in her role as coach on The Voice UK and has  earned praise for her appearance in the new ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ movie.

With a new album nigh, Kanye West is ditching the reclusive aura that has defined him in recent years and stepping back into the media spotlight.

Following headline grabbing appearance at the Grammy Awards and an ostentatious New York Fashion Week presentation, Yeezy stopped by The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 this morning.

For, joining the established hits that are ‘Scandal’ and ‘Greys Anatomy’ is Shonda Rhimes’ new freshman series ‘How To Get Away With Murder’.

The legal drama, which stars Viola Davis, follows a group of ambitious law students and their brilliant criminal defence professor; the group become involved in a twisted murder plot that promises to change the course of their lives. 

It all makes for a riveting watch. We’re already hooked!

Lady Gaga has always stood as a present day pop anomaly.

As an artist, Gaga – born Stefani Germanotta – has carefully skated on commercial relevance by offering an EDM-wrapped package similar to the radio’s top offerings, yet qualitatively different in its decoration with undeniable vocal talent and stage presence oft-lost on her pop competitors.  These qualities, much like her ever-changing image, saw her inaugural years court as much positivity for her eccentricity as it did negativity for claims of being gimmicky.

Yet, for as meteoric as her rise to pop dominance was, her slide down the slope of commercial relevance has seemingly met similar acceleration.  Indeed, the years that followed her blockbuster ‘Born This Way’ album don’t see her every “hairdo and don’t,” on-stage antic, nor music release greeted with the same level of intense media coverage they once received.  While the cause of this shift has seen many-a-finger pointed toward the allure of “her gimmick fading,” others even argue that her inconsistent choice of sound (i.e. departure from “black music”) is to blame.

I, on the other hand, will argue that neither are the primary perpetrator, but instead wish to place a lens on Gaga’s aggressive social agenda which, in turn, caused the drift of her faithful buying audience.  Full analysis below:

Drake isn’t the only Pop prince rocking and ruling the charts this week.

For, should one pay the Billboard Hot 100 a visit, they’d find Bruno Mars at #1 with the single ‘Uptown Funk’, placed in the enviable spot for a total of seven weeks!

His chart reign continues as Rihanna’s ‘FourFiveSeconds’ finds itself placed at #4, and as Chris Brown & Tyga‘s joint jam ‘Ayo‘ impacts iTunes UK‘s Top Ten by claiming the #9 spot for itself.

The cut’s charting in the market will come as a welcome surprise for Brown fans as past legal troubles have seen him unable to promote music in the country physically.

However, it seems his absence has made the hearts of British fans grow fonder as his success with this single comes after 2013’s ‘Loyal’ was certified Gold in the market for sales of over 400,000 units.
