Nick Cannon is renown for serving up the funny. However, events in his personal life have been anything but laugh-worthy in recent months.

Indeed, it was confirmed earlier this Summer that the actor, host and media mogul had split with wife of six years Mariah Carey.

And while, in subsequent months, both have maintained a measured silence about their separation, it hasn’t quelled constant the questions thrown their way.

Today saw Cannon offer an insight into his approach to the situation during an interview with Extra – who caught up with him at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Addicted’. During the candid chat, the ‘America’s Got Talent’ presenter also offered his two cents on the drama surrounding his Mrs’ vocal malfunction on tour last week.

For fans of original Sugababes, Mutya Keisha Siobhan, the wait for the group’s debut album has been every flavour of excruciating.

Teased as far back as 2011, the set has been marred by many a speed-bump – most notably the release of their one (and thus far only) single ‘Flatline’ last Summer.

Oddly rolled out with just two days of worth counting on iTunes, the track peaked at #50 on the Official UK Singles Chart – effectively derailing the trio’s initial comeback plans.

Since then, the volume on their campaign has been mute. Until now.

Taking to Facebook this week, the talented songbirds offered fans an exciting update.

Should one be on the hunt for Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea and John Legend, they needn’t look any further than the ‘Official Top 40 Most Streamed Singles of 2014 so far‘ tally today!

For, thanks to music lovers who streamed their hottest release, all three are featured on the list, surpassing efforts made by Beyonce‘s ‘Drunk in Love’, Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Pills N Potions’ and Usher‘s ‘Good Kisser’ in the third quarter.

However, did any of three songs named above fare better when figures pulled between January and today were thrown into the equation?

Given the tough musical climate, the once-frequent practice of re-releasing albums has become a thing of the past. However, it’s set to be revived for Billboard belle Iggy Azalea next month when her debut album ‘The New Classic’ is re-issued.

Officially christened ‘Reclassified’, the set will add a selection of new tracks to the original LP, with a fresh single from the new set of songs also a strong likelihood.

It’s widely expected that the re-release will add to the 376,681 US sales of the original, which has been in stores since April 23rd and has thus far been supported by singles including ‘Work’, ‘Fancy’, and ‘Black Widow’.

Building buzz, the Australian-bred beauty revealed the LP’s cover. Check it out above.

As earlier reported, Raven Symone set the social media arena ablaze following her controversial interview on Oprah Winfrey‘s Where Are They Now special.

Indeed, many took to Twitter, Facebook, and a multitude of other platforms to voice their views on the ‘That’s So Raven’ and ‘Cosby Show’ actress’ claim that she is “not Afro-American…but American”.

And with the debate still blazing, the star has released a statement clarifying her words.

‘She‘ chanteuse may have poured her heart and soul into her new album ‘Point of No Return’, but it would seem the general public have decided not throw their hearts and wallets in its support today, now that it’s first week sales prediction has been announced.

Unfortunately, after the critically acclaimed ‘Woman to Woman‘ opened with 96,000 units in 2012, ‘Return’ is set to touch down on the ‘Billboard 200‘ with anywhere between 22 to 25,000 units next week, marking her lowest opening week number to date.

On lower ground, Urban Pop sensation Tinashe isn’t set to fare any better. For despite owning the summer with the smash hit single ‘2 On’, the entertainer proves there’s more work to be done now that her debut LP ‘Aquarius’ is set to sell between 17 to 20,000 copies.
