Ever keen to broaden our musical scope, recent months have seen That Grape Juice venture into a number of new musical landscapes including, most recently, gospel.
With her new LP ‘Food’ now available to purchase worldwide, Kelis made her way to the UK’s ‘Brighton Dome‘ to rock the spot with her latest live show on May 10th, doing in support of the delicious new album.
There, she enjoyed the company of her fans wowed by her rendition of the Nina Simone standard ‘Feelin’ Good’, flaunting the voice and range now available to be floored by after the jump!
After surprising the world with the release in the December of last year, Beyonce‘s self-titled fifth LP enjoyed album sales that have seen her shift more in six months than a number of her contemporaries have in two years, outperforming the likes of Rihanna‘s ‘Unapologetic’, Usher‘s ‘Looking 4 Myself’ and Lady GaGa‘s 2013 release ‘ARTPOP.’
However, while its bold sound guaranteed the star critical acclaim, she wasn’t promised the success of its supporting singles, with music lovers unlikely to pick them up separately after purchasing them as part of the album.
Fortunately for her, they did and have now taken its latest single ‘Partition’ to Gold!

It seems Missy Elliott knew exactly what she was talking about when she recorded that very hook.
From The Vault is back this week with the party starter that is Keyshia Cole’s ‘Let It Go’. The high-octane cut saw the R&B chanteuse team up with Missy and mother-to-be Lil’ Kim.
Proving that the sophomore slump can be avoided, ‘Go’ was the first single from Cole’s hugely successful second effort ‘Just Like You’ – which was released in 2007. Featuring the Queen B and Elliott – who also took on production duties – the track serves as quite the ladies anthem.
It became Keyshia’s first solo Top 10 hit – she previously scored herself two of those with Sean Paul’s Give It Up To Me’ and of course Diddy’s ‘Last Night’ – hitting #7 on Billboard Hot 100. Elsewhere, it reached the pole position of the Hot Hip-Hop/R&B but unfortunately wasn’t released overseas.
Despite being situated in the well-treaded club backdrop, the Benny Boom-directed video successfully “sells” the laid-back vibe of the tune. What’s more, it showcased a new side of Keyshia – one that embodied the fiery feistiness of previous releases, but with a fun twist. It’s little surprise, then, that ‘Go’ and its accompanying video are considered Ms. Cole’s true breakthrough.

Having recently announced the Summer arrival of her next LP ‘Point Of No Return’, we’re hopeful the project is actually the one that will see Keyshia return to the top of the Billboard tally. With her last two albums having been highly overlooked, ‘Return’ – in many ways – will be somewhat of make-or-break for the ‘Beautiful Music’ vocalist. That said, if the tracks ‘Rick James’ and ‘Next Time’ as well as their respective visuals are anything to go by, Team Keyshia is definitely on the right path.
The pop force that is Lady GaGa touched down in Pittsburgh on May 8th, rocking the ‘Consol Energy Centre’ with her big, bright and bold ‘ArtRave: The Artpop Ball‘ tour.
While there, she turned the heat up to dangerously high levels when she delivered her number ‘Sexxx Dreams‘, flaunting choreography pulled from her ‘Paparazzi’ routine on a stage just as colourful as the cut’s lyrics.
The heavily pregnant stage blazer shared a number of glowing shots of herself on Instagram today.
Looking all sorts of lush, the ‘Body Party’ belter styled and profiled, flaunting her uber pronounced baby bump.
How does the singer maintain such a svelte physique during her pregnancy? She told her 3 million Instagram followers that she walks 2-3 miles a day. Werk!
As previously reported, the singer is engaged to rapper Future. Their imminent bundle of joy will be CiCi’s first child and the Hip-Hop star’s fourth.
